The Cabbage Patch
The Cabbage Patch

During a visit to Kingston Lacy National Trust, I came across these cabbages in an allotment area in the walled garden and loved the contrast of the purple and green cabbages in the sunlight. I wanted to capture the holes in the leaves too, which I felt gave the older cabbages in the front row their character. Oil on board, 10 x 12 inches. Reserved.
